Project Description
CDM engineered a 60 Cu-ft V-Shell Blender with intensifier bar for pharmaceutical powder blending. Designed to meet full cGMP standards, the system provides efficient, uniform mixing while maintaining strict cleanliness and reliability for large-scale production. 

Project Challenge
The client’s blending room had a ceiling height of only 12 feet, making it physically impossible to install a fixed-frame 60 Cu-ft V-Shell Blender. Standard equipment designs would not fit the space or allow for safe and effective powder loading and discharge. 

Project Solution
CDM implemented a Post Blender design that enabled the vessel to travel smoothly from floor to ceiling. This vertical movement allowed the blender to be raised for blending operations and lowered to programmable discharge and loading heights, overcoming the facility’s spatial limitations. 

Project Result
The client received a high-capacity blending system tailored to their facility constraints, without sacrificing functionality. The Post Blender design delivered full 60 Cu-ft blending capability, easy operator access, and efficient product handling—all within the low-ceiling environment.
